A Night Club in Argentine offers Yoga !!

Indian Ambassodor to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, reports that he had the most unusual nightclub experience last weekend while he was at the Groove.

Bhajans or songs like 'Jai Jai Radha Ramana Hari Bol', 'Jai Krishna Hare', 'Gurudeva Guru Om', and 'Jai Shiva Shambo' were being played intead of salsa, samba or reggaton.

Did you ever imagine that a nightclub would not serve alcoholic drinks and not allow smoking? Wow, it seems only vegetarian food and soft drinks are served. Great that they even instruct guests on various yoga techniques by a yoga guru. He instructed to do the practices with a smile on their face until the end of the practice. They all followed direction with focus and awareness. After practice the music and dance resumed. Despite the loud music and wild dancing, both the singers and the audience maintained a sense of reverence to the Sanskrit mantras and to Indian gods shared Viswanathan.

When lead singer Bustos was questioned how the youth got attracted to Sanskrit songs, he explained: "Yoga Rave is an alternative party. It is a new concept of fun - free from alcohol, smoking and drugs. The body and soul are connected by the mantras, yoga, meditation, music and dance in an unconventional way."

Bustos and bandmate Nicolas Pucci apparently drew their inspiration from Indian spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar's Art of Living Foundation, said Viswanathan.
