"Don't agonize, Organize"

By your very nature, you are not clutched. There is a gap between one thought and another thought, just like the water bubbles in the fish tank; there is a gap between every bubble. But the gap is too small and you are not able to see the gaps with the naked eye, so it looks like a continuous stream.

Just like we organize all the possessions in our physical world so they do not take up too much space, let us organize our internal world.

When any episodes of pain are remembered just as chronological events, they do not take up much space in our mind and they do not block our energy, and they do not make us tired or suffer with pain. These are like word documents for a computer.

When these episodes are attached or burdened with emotion by us, they become long term memories, and they take up a lot of space in our mind, and then they are like the picture/photo files in the computer. They block our energy, drain us, and make us feel tired, causing disease states, painful states.

All our thoughts are illogical, independent, completely unconnected and unrelated.

Upanishad based theory of our body layers sees the physical disease as arising out of the above emotions/mental layer of Manomaya Kosha. Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Gratitude, help us in this Kosha and stop the adhi (stress) from trickling down into the Pranamaya and Annamaya Koshas, and thereby preventing or alleviating the adhija vyadhi/ psychosomatic ailments like pain etc

The amygdala is the most notably involved brain structure in emotional responses and the formation of emotional memories.

The hippocampus is responsible for transforming short-term memory into long-term memory, and for assigning emotional "weight" and importance to stored memories.

The amygdala and the hippocampus act synergistically to form long-term memories of significantly emotional events.

These brain structures are activated following an emotional event and cross-talk with each other in the process of consolidation.

This dual activation of the amygdala and the hippocampus and the dynamics between them is what gives emotionally based memories their uniqueness.

When the emotions are aroused, the brain takes note. It stores as much detail as possible about the emotion-filled event, wiring it for quick recall. That emotion-charged memory can be summoned at a moment's notice, even after a long time has passed.

Neuroscientists have found that experience shapes amygdala processing over time. You could say that the amygdala elearns, over time, the level of danger that should be associated with any particular stimulus.

We are all carrying the baggage (I like to call it a black bag), from our past experience and we use that information to make projections about what we expect to happen in the future.

Following are the Revelations Yoga Chakra Energizing Program guidelines:

  • Attendees for the Revelations Yoga Chakra Energizing Program should arrive at the venue promptly.  Please be punctual!  Doors close once the program begins!

  • Attendees should register promptly at the registration desk.

  • There will be breaks during the program. In order to gain the most benefit, leave the room only during breaks. Please be silent to maintain the serenity.

  • Please refrain from use of cell phones. Revelations Yoga Chakra Energizing Program is your chance to start your spiritual journey.

  • Please put in 100% effort during all the meditations to reap maximum benefit

  • No food or drink, except water, is permitted in the Meditation Hall.

  • Please bring a yoga chair or pillow for your comfort.

  • For attendees who are unable to sit on the floor, chairs are available.

  • Please wear loose fitting, light colored clothes; preferably white clothes. No shorts, no skirts.

  • Wear minimal jewelry, if any.

  • No food intake after 1 PM, water intake is fine

  • Lunch before 1 PM needs to be light; also preferably, vegetarian food both the days
